Another Edgar Rice Burroughs Book

I've just finished reading one more Edgar Rice Burroughs book yesterday. The Lost Continent. It was a stand-alone novel written in 1916 and was also published under the title Beyond Thirty. In the book the lost continent was Europe and Asia. North and South America became isolated because of the Great War and over 200 years passed without any interaction between the Western and Eastern hemispheres... thus the lost continent. Then a group of Americans accidently travel to Europe and discover the ruins of a lost civilization.

It was not part of one of his popular series that he is so well known for. I actually thought the book was a little so-so. I've read so many better stories by him over the years. Maybe I was expecting too much. But I did read it in three days.

According to my GoodReads list this is the 33rd book I've read from this author. He wrote about 80 books.
