Vinyl Spins - Drums & Wires

Vinyl Spins: Giving a listen to Drums and Wires by XTC, an old favorite, released in 1979. This record started my life-long love of this band. I also have a very significant number of records in my collection with that red dot from Play It Again Sam / Home of the Hits on Elmwood Avenue. This was one of the first albums I purchased when I discovered the store a few blocks from our apartment after moving to Buffalo in 1979. I was on Elmwood the other day and sad to see the hole in the ground where I had spent so much time perusing albums in that venerable record store where, especially in the 80’s during my barroom DJ days, I made sure to get there at least once a week. Sometime a lot more.
