Zero K by Don DeLillo, 2016
I just finished this book today and was disappointed. I still consider him one of the great novelist of our time and this was the sixth novel of his that I've read. However, I really didn't think this was one of his better ones. Too random. I hope he hasn't peaked.
There were a lot of great ideas bouncing around in this novel and intense observations on terrorism, plague, famine, fires, floods, biomedical advances and death.
He can write brilliantly but at some points in this book he can also be slow, plodding. pointless and pretentious.
