We were on the road all day on Thursday and got to the Best Western Hotel in Clarks Summit at 3 pm. We watched some football and then decided to go get some dinner. There was a restaurant next to the hotel and actually in the same building called Deacon's Tavern. We had dinner there last year when we stayed at this same hotel on this same traveling weekend. But this time we walked next door in the other direction to Tully's which is a sports restaurant and bar that I had never been to before although the chain started in the Buffalo suburbs.
It was actually very crowded and there were lots of families there. It was a very intense sports bar and part of the Philadelphia area. On the TVs, and there were many of them, were games from the Phillies, the Eagles and the Flyers... all at once. I had their so called famous Chicken Tenders and they were actually very good. Becky had what they called The Ultimate BLT. It was pretty good too. I had a draft of their Tully's Pilsner which was pretty good.
Then we went back to the hotel to watch more Philly sports on the TV.
