A Bad Cold

Now I really feel like I have a bad cold. I could feel it coming on yesterday but last night was very tough. I had a difficult time sleeping. I kept coughing, sneezing, sore throat and my stomach was acting up with lots of growling. I drank a lot of Yogi Echinacea tea yesterday which made me want to keep going to the bathroom all night.

The bad thing about getting this cold now, and I probably got it from the kids this past weekend, is that we have tickets from the Bairds to the Buffalo Philharmonic Concert for tomorrow morning at 10:30 am. I don't think I'm going to be able to attend because of all of that coughing and sneezing. And just feeling bad. Fortunately we were given four tickets and Dave and Donna are coming with us. So if I can't make it then Becky has them to go to the concert with tomorrow.

I hope Becky doesn't get this cold. I slept in the other room last night and will again tonight to limit her exposure to me.

This is not the first time I got a bad cold after hanging out with the grandkids. It's happened before. I could feel it coming on a little on our drive back to Buffalo on Tuesday but then it really kicked in late Wednesday. Now it's full on. Well, at least I recently had my Covid and Flu shots. This just feels like a bad cold.
