Seeing the surprise guest performance of Tracy Chapman on the Grammy Awards reminded me of how much I loved her song Fast Car. I had also just been listening to a lot of Nanci Griffith albums and watching some of her concerts on YouTube recently. So the other day I was sitting at the kitchen table and a new mix of old songs just came together. I started off with that Nanci Griffith classic and followed it with Fast Car. Things just took off and flowed along after that with some great songs of the late 80's and early 90's. Many I'd used before on mixes and for some it was a first time. Now this is another Reflections mix in my Final Version series.
