We went down to Hallwalls Art Gallery tonight for the Richard Huntington show opening. That man had 138 pieces of art in the show. For many years the 86 year old artist was the art critic for the Buffalo News.
The gallery was crowded and we had a nice time socializing with dozens of people. I hadn't talked to some many people over the course of an evening in many years. It was also interesting that in this crowded space this was the first time in several years that no one was wearing a mask. We had attended a small number of art openings since the beginning of the pandemic and there were always plenty of people wearing masks. Tonight it looked like people were moving on.
We both did have many conversations tonight. Some were odd. I guess we're all getting old.
