There has been a story in the media about a mother with a
little girl who had been asking why she keeps watching “the map show” every
day. We all feel like that little girl. We have all been watching the map show.
It’s actually been a little fun watching the stats nerds
have the spotlight for so long that they need to have stats nerd backups.
It’s been interesting to watch the anchors spend so much
extra time on the sets. The main people have hardly had any time away from the
cameras. They are there all day until late at night and then there again in the
morning to start over again.
It’s also been interesting to turn on the BBC and watch
their coverage of the US elections which always needs to have lots of
explanations of those maps we keeping seeing.
