Finger Poppin' Time - Decade 1 mix

The second mega mix of music from the first decade of rock and roll. This one was made from scratch over the last several weeks and not from any previous mix. It was fun putting together.

Again this is the music of my early youth and the soundtrack of my early teenage years. The music of the 1950's we were calling oldies in the mid 1960's.  Most of the songs on this mix I listened to all the time. 

As with the previous Decade 1 mix these songs were regularly played at the dances we went to all the time at Wagner's Ballroom, Holy Child church hall on Broad Street and at the area high schools. They were played at dances all throughout Philadelphia.

They were also played on the many radio stations by disc jockeys such as Jerry Blavat, Hy Lit, Joe Niagara and many more.
