Splashdown & the Dolphins

Becky called me into the front room to see something very unique on TV. CNN was live covering the splashdown of the SpaceX capsule bringing back the stranded astronauts that had been on the space station for so many months. When the capsule came down into the ocean on a beautiful calm day at sea they were greeted by a pod of dolphins who hung around during the operation and were seen by millions watching on TV. I was happy that Becky made sure I saw this wonderful event.

Many years ago we saw lots of capsule recovery operations on television but we never saw any of them greeted by dolphins.
