Got this 50 year old album out today. In the spring of 1968 when the film was released I cut my high school classes (matinees were cheaper) and went downtown to the big theatre showing the movie on the special Cinerama screen. I loved it enough to run out and get the soundtrack album right away.
This was also the first classical album I purchased and the second soundtrack album after Goldfinger.
