The other day I spent some time in the afternoon listening to the band Oregon as part of my regular Kitchen Listening. This has always been one of my favorite bands and I particularly loved their take on jazz, new age and world music. I also have really liked their guitarist Ralph Towner and the sitar and percussionist Colin Walcott. I have a few of their solo albums in my collection in addition to the Oregon albums. All from the 1970's.On this set I played through a group of five Oregon albums from my collection. I have a couple more on vinyl only which I need to go upstairs and give a spin.
