This mix starts out with some reggae music and this was a good year for me and reggae. I had seen a lot of live music wherever I went during my many trips to the Caribbean in the early 70's including Jamaica and when I came home I got lots of reggae albums. In 1973 I went to see the Jimmy Cliff film The Harder They Come Later at the nearby Band Box movie theater. Got the soundtrack album too. I continued to go see live reggae bands including Bob Marley in 1976. We were also seeing a lot of live reggae bands on South Street in Philly around that time at Grendel's Lair. The mix continues with some wonderful music from that year. Hits, favorites and deep cuts. Jimmy Cliff in the pic.
