May 88 Degrees

Very early this morning at about 3:30 am I woke up to a very  bright moon shining into the bedroom window. I took a quick picture. We had our fans on last night. It was hot.

Yesterday the high was 88 degrees according to our thermometer outside our home. The official temperature for the city was 86 which tied the all time high temperature for that day in Buffalo. 

The temperature inside our backyard sunroom was 94. That was even after installing the screens in the windows earlier this week. Yesterday it was really too hot to garden.

Fortunately yesterday we had the plumber come by and fix the pipe leading to the garden hose spigot in the front of the house but that is another story. Becky was able to give the front garden a good soaking.

I don't remember it ever being this warm this early in the spring here. It has been in the mid 80's for the past two days and is predicted to be so today too. Tomorrow the temperatures will go down with the rain and next week should be more seasonable.
