After our wonderful visit to the Louvre we were hungry, tired and needed to sit down. We were walking toward our hotel from the museum but quickly stopped at Le Nemours Cafe on the Rue St Honore across from the Palace Collette Square.
We had a very nice lunch including delicious baguette sandwiches while sitting outside on the square. The French waiters were very entertaining. There was also some great people watching going on in that very active public square. I had a pint of Grimbergen Blonde Belgian Ale from Brouwerij Alken-Maes along with my lunch.
There was a student orchestra playing some wonderful classical music in the square. There was also a very sad looking man who was blowing very large crazy bubbles that was highly entertaining for a group of children. Between the live music on the square and the man with the bubbles we could have sat that there all day but eventually we got up and walked the three blocks or so to the hotel where we collapsed in our beds for a late afternoon nap.
