Peeling Paint

A few months ago I put some paint down where Dietrich had reworked the edges of our porch. This was going to be temporary until I could really do the job in the spring. Then suddenly this past week the paint I had put on the new replacement wood has begun to peel off. At the time I didn't put down a primer. I just covered the wood with some paint I had around because I was expecting to redo the entire porch this spring.

OK, now there is a little more urgency. Also there is a piece of the new wood that appears to be loosening up and making a slight gap. Dietrich will need to take a look at that when he comes by to do some more small jobs around the house this spring. Always something.
