Becky and I had a very nice and informative time this afternoon at the Buffalo History Museum. We went over there to see the Hallwalls 50 Year exhibit which was certainly a worthwhile endeavor. There was also a very cool exhibit of the local editorial cartoonist Adam Zyglist. That was unexpected and very interesting too.
We also spent some time wandering around the museum and looking at the many exhibits of local history. I stopped in the Library to see an old friend who I worked with some 30 years ago who has been working at the museum for decades... Cynthia Van Ness.
We were both bad with names but luckily she had her name tag. When I walked up to the desk she asked if I needed help and then said I looked familiar. I mentioned my name and of course she got excited to see me and we talked for awhile. She remembered that Technology Tuesday program working with Katie when she described making her home page to an auditorium full of people when she was 11 years old.
Becky and I enjoyed our Friday afternoon.
