Cole's and a WOW

It was a cold, damp dreary day which was so much different than the great weather we have been having this August. There was a Parkside Wine on Wednesday scheduled for this evening but we were not thinking that we would go because of the weather. We decided to go down to Cole's for some dinner.

We had a great meal. They had some wonderful sandwich specials today. Becky had a chicken caesar sandwich and I had a chicken parm sandwich. Both were outstanding. We went over there at 5:30 and were surprised at how busy they were. Maybe it was the weather. It was so chilly walking over there from our usual parking spot that when we ordered beers I got a Great Lakes Octoberfest. Becky got a hefeweizen. We got home a little before 7 and video chatted on the phone for a bit with Katie and the kids, The weather got a little nicer and we decided to walk over to the WOW and hang out for an hour. It was just around the corner and we had one drink and talked with some neighbor/friends for an hour. Then it got dark and chilly. We have a busy day tomorrow getting ready for our trip this weekend to Sean and Ashley's house so we went home at 8:30. 

Overall it was a good night.
