Sometimes we have rainbows in our home. Lots of them. But not very often. It all depends on the position of the sun and to make the rainbows happen it is usually in the morning when the sun is rising over the houses across the street. Very occasionally in the early spring the rainbows will appear much earlier in the morning when the sun is shining between the houses and is coming through our special front window. The rainbows will form on the floor, the walls and the ceiling and they will move about as the sun rises. Our grandkids get very excited when they see the rainbows. Sometimes I have sent pictures of them to the kids because they are not here very often when it happens. This weekend Andrew saw the rainbows for the first time and understood what they were. He went around the living room trying to grasp the rainbows or letting them form in his hands and all his clothes. He was very happy.
