Chicago Transit Authority

Chicago Transit Authority is the name of their first album and the original name of the band. I saw the band and bought this album 50 years ago. I had never heard of them when I saw them at the Atlantic City Pop Festival in August 1969. They were awesome and made a very good impression on me and the crowd. They were a harder edged Blood Sweat and Tears at the time and had a very serious hard driving sound.

I went out and bought this album later in August 1969 and have enjoyed it ever since.
