Highways Are Happy Ways. Found some old sheet music in that box of “stuff” that I was going through the other day. I was using this music 63 years ago while a member of the Uptown String Band. I had joined the band that previous summer and in November 1962 I was preparing for my first Philadelphia New Years Mummers Parade march down Broad Street. I played clarinet back then but would switch to tenor sax a couple of years later. Yep, I wore a lot of feathers too.
