Family Dinner @ Kostas

We were trying to decide what to do for dinner this evening. It was the Friday night after Thanksgiving and we were not sure what the restaurant scene would be like. We also considered ordering some pizza or takeout from somewhere but thought that might be also be tough.

After talking about it for a bit we decided to get in the cars and drive over to Kostas on Hertel Ave. As we were driving over there we pass by the Parkside Meadow and saw there were lots of tables available from the window so we considered that as a possible backup plan if Kostas was too crowded.

But it wasn't. We parked the car and walked down to Kostas a little after the kids got there and they had a nice corner table. The same table as last time we were there. The service was great and the food was wonderful.

It was funny to watch the kids get their food ordered. Henry and Clara wanted their mother to order the food from the waiter but Violet gave him a very big smile and ordered her dinner which was... french fries. And then she said ketchup. She is something.

After dinner the kids went back to our house and gathered up their stuff to take back down to the hotel. We had a very nice day and evening together.
