Dinner @ Streetlight Brasserie

Becky and I had a wonderful dinner at a very nice downtown restaurant. We had walked by this place many times and always thought it would be a good place to check out. Finally we did... at Becky's insistence. I was ready to head over to Tappo. Anyway, we were glad we went here. The restaurant was very cool and a lot was going on. Lots of young people and older folks too. It was a happening place and we were very lucky to get a table. By 6 pm there were none.

The service was very good and I would say almost one of the best we've seen in ages. I had their Caesar Salad with Chicken. It was wonderful. Becky had a Fried Chicken Sandwich done Buffalo Style. It was delicious. She gave me some to try out. The waiter said we might want some French Fries with our order and he was right. The fries were great and we were very happy he suggested them.

I also had one of my favorite draft beers... Flower Power IPA from Ithaca Beer Co. Becky had a Peroni NA.

Then we walked a couple of blocks to the Hunt Gallery for an art opening and lots of conversations with friends which I wrote about here.
