Becky and I decided to go out for dinner this evening. We both wanted it... and I needed it. It was a long day at the hospital getting tested and it's been a long few weeks dealing with the pain of my hernia along with the other back and leg issues. So we thought going down to Coles was a good idea.
And it was. We left our house around 5:30 and got down there at happy hour. They opened at 5 pm. We were sitting and starting enjoying ourselves around 6. There was sports on the TV, 80's music on the sound system and people were coming in for dinner like us. We sat in one of our usual booths in the bar area and ordered a couple of beers. Becky had an NA and I got a Firestone Walker Union Jack on tap. One of my favorites which I hadn't had in a while. A little while later I would have a Bells Oberon draft which is another old favorite.
For dinner I had their Clancy roast beef sandwich with cheese, pepper and onions. Beck had their chicken finger Buffalo Wrap. We both had fries too. We enjoyed our dinner very much and then went home to watch another NBA playoff game before going to bed. It was a long day.
