Jesse Colin Young - RIP - Kitchen Listening

Last night while browsing online I saw that Jesse Colin Young had passed away. He was 84 years old. I first heard his music in 1967 when he was with The Youngbloods and had that monster hit Get Together. I saw them in concert back in the late 60's and I saw him perform solo later at the folk festival and at either the Main Point or the Bijou Cafe.

I really liked his music and used a number of his songs on mixes over the years.

So today I put on some of his music. I started off with his double CD best of and then went to a few of his albums both with the band and solo.
