High Fidelity - Film Favorites

High Fidelity came out on film in 2000. I had read the Nick Hornby novel around the same time. I probably read the book after seeing that the movie was coming out. I wrote about the novel here

I don't think I saw this film in a movie theater and probably saw it on HBO or another streaming service as soon as it was available. We just don't got out to the movies anymore like we did for so many years. Now when we go out I'd rather go see live music and have dinner somewhere. There are plenty of movies to watch at home.

But I did really like this film and the cast. In particular I liked the Jack Black character. I also liked the lead character's mixtape obsession and his loads of rules for making mixtapes. 

I enjoyed the TV series on Hulu while it lasted.
