Rachel Maddow Tonight

We were watching a women's college basketball tonight and at half time I switched the channel over to MSNBC just at the start of the Rachel Maddow Show. It turned out to be one of her best shows I'd ever seen. She was amazing and part of my fascination with her performance was that the subject touched on a book of hers that I've recently read and is so pertinent to what is going on in our country today which is why the subject came up on her show at this time.

Her book that I'm referring to is Prequel: An American Fight Against Fascism which came out in 2023 and I wrote about after spending a week reading it earlier this year.

I knew right from the very beginning that she was going to be talking about the recent shocking hiring of the fascist election denier trumper head of the RNC Ronna McDaniels to the staff of NBC News.
