My reading list of nonfiction books read in 2019. 24 nonfiction books.
I really enjoyed both of Jill Lepore's books and liked her perspective on American history. I read several political books and some anti-Trump books.
I was disappointed with the biography of Babe Ruth. I've read a bio on him many years ago but this one was more about his media activities.
Some books I particularly liked were The Club about the English Premier soccer league, Living Hell about the civil war and a couple of good journalism collections.
Music books included All Hopped Up about the New York City music scene and Under the Big Black Sun about the LA punk scene.
