This was an incredible anthology collection of short stories, essays and art from thirty bestselling and award-winning authors and artists including Alice Walker, Richard Russo, Walter Mosley, Joyce Carol Oates, Alice Hoffman, Neil Gaiman, Michael Cunningham, Mary Higgins Clark, Ha Jin, Louise Erdrich, Russell Banks, Lee Child, Viet Thanh Nguyen, Art Spiegelman, Paul Theroux and many others who consider the fundamentals of our democracy and our American soul through fiction.
Many very thoughtful stories that explore a very diverse list of social issues from characters of very different backgrounds, beliefs and desires that were a reaction to the election of Donald Trump. All of the proceeds from this book go to the ACLU. Very inspiring.
